DCC, the Contemporary Catalan Drama Database, is a project elaborated by Theater Institut with the collaboration of SGAE and AELC.

DCC gathers information about dramatic works written in Catalan, without regard to the location where they were written or the nationality of their authors.

DCC collects information about playwrights who have edited or premiered professionally at least one dramatic work since 1970. When an author is incorporated into the DCC, all of its production will be introduced, regardless of the language in which it was written.

DCC offers, for every work, an abstract, keywords, number of characters, etc.. It also offers some information about the premiere and about the book edited, when relevant. Sometimes, the full text is offered if the author has allowed it.

DCC is a dynamic project in a permanent development. This platform is born with the main goal to allow permanent updating.
